An on-going, lifelong sculptural artwork, queer artist Jacob Aaron Schroeder will create at least one “A Faggot’s Defense” for every year that he is alive as an act of resistance of discrimination towards the LGBTQ+ community. This piece is made from hand cut mirror on maple wood baseball bat, and meant to be displayed vertically on a custom-made wooden wall mount that comes free with purchase. Each sculpture comes with an adhesive foam square to add to the wall, meant to protect the bat while on display. Each purchased sculpture comes signed and editioned on the hidden wall-side of the custom wall mount.
